Development Path

1999
Yantai Guangyuan Packaging Technology Co.,Ltd. was established Founded in 1999, Guangyuan Packaging produced PVC shrink film.
2003
Guangyuan Packaging devoted into PE shrink film manufacturing. By manufacturing and developing Polyethylene film. Guangyuan Packaging pioneered the creation of PE SHRINK FILM, becoming the first Yantai manufacturers in the process.
2005
Guangyuan Packaging successfully develop stretch wrap film. Our Plant installs cast lines for the manufacture of high-performance multi-layer STRETCH FILM. The application of the film revolutionised the palletized transport industry by offering a more cost-effective method of product protection by increasing load stability while using less material.
2010
Guangyuan Packaging successfully develop substrate film for lamination. Guangyuan Packaging expands to accommodate new production and blown lines for POLYETHYLENE SUBSTRATE FILM FOR LAMINATION.
2012
Guangyuan Packaging was approved by QS system. The company starts up blown lines for the production of STRETCH HOOD FILM. Stretch hood was an environmentally conscious step forward, offering considerable reductions in plastic consumption and increased economy through regular use.
2016
Guangyuan Packaging was approved by ISO certification and successfully developed stretch hood film. Based in Yantai, the 20,000m2 NEW FACTORY’S primary focus was to create additional production facilities for increased flexible packaging materials demand and development.
2019
Guangyuan Packaging is well equipped with state-of-the-art 5 LAYERS co-extrusions blown film systems, which have auto tension controlled winding system, on-line measurement system, feeding & blending system and weight-loss type mixing system.
2020
Our operations grow thanks to a new production line producing SILAGE WRAP FILM.
2021
Established export business department to expand overseas business, currently exported to more than 50 countries.
2024
Installation of a new blown film line with in-line stretching, mainly producing MDOPE for the food industry and Net replacement film for the forage industry.

Our Founder

Guangyuan Packaging is a family business founded by Mr Zhao Dianbin in 1999 in Yantai, China. Our goal is to become an internationally leading manufacturer of high-performance polyethylene packaging materials.

The name “Guangyuan” implies extensive knowledge and a constant flow of wisdom or resources.

The company logo is a combination of the initials of Guangyuan, G and Y, like a bird in a nest ready to take off at any time, full of hope for the future, fearless of difficulties, and moving forward courageously.

Our Team

Our team consists of production team, sales team, R&D team and management team.

Most of the employees in the production team have worked in the company for more than 10 years. Stable employees are an important guarantee for product quality.

The sales team is composed of old employees with 20 years of product experience and young and energetic new employees, actively exploring new channels and new markets. The R&D team cooperates with university professors of polymer majors to continuously develop new products to meet market needs.
